Mac Snow Leopard & Windows 7 finally getting along together
September 1, 2009
Even though the new Mac os Snow Leopard doesn’t offer much “Wow” upgrades from the last one, it’s still worth the money at just $29 one time upgrade fees. It’s still a whole lot cheaper than Windows 7 cheapest Home Premium. Remember Snow Leopard unlike Windows 7, is not a complete system overhaul, but rather a refinement of Leopard to make the os run faster and less problem. And there’s an addon to welcome Windows 7 users. You can now run two os on the same system with the help of Boot Camp 3.0 in Snow Leopard. Note: You need Boot Camp Assistant (BCA) is you want to dual-boot Snow Leopard & Windows 7 on the same system. Make sure you run the BCA first when your computer boots up to avoid potential file errors.

Another nice feature in the new Boot Camp is it already includes all necessary driver to make Win 7 able to read Mac partition. This means that when you dual-boot OS X and Win 7, Win 7 can now read files on OS X’s partition without any extra software.
If you are a Mac Snow Leopard user and is as exciting as the release of Windows 7 on 22nd October 09. Boot Camp 3.0 that comes with the Snow Leopard take Windows experience on a Mac hardware to a new high. Now we just hope that the Mac & Windows fans can get along well, don’t ever say Apple never does anything for you Windows users again!
